The Redding Performing Arts Society

Music. Community. Arts.

Founded in 1984, Performing Arts Society has hosted numerous exemplary performers, including Jon Holden, Jeremiah Trujillo, Li-yuan Ho, Robert Bowman, Olando Tognozzi and Cynthia Darby, as well as Shasta Symphony and North State Symphony artists. Though we focus on local artists, performers come also from Ashland, Eureka, Bay Area and beyond. PAS collaborates with Shasta County Arts Council and frequently utilizes the historic Old City Hall. Also, concerts are presented at the historic Pilgrim Congregational Church designed by master architect Frank Lloyd Wright.

For 34 years, PAS has provided free, high quality performances given by local and non-local performers and ensembles. Concerts feature a wide variety of classical music from the baroque to the 21st century.
